Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my new website!

I’m currently putting the finishing touches on my first thriller novel, Deep State, which follows former CIA operative Jason Trapp. I’ll be launching Deep State in July, and following up with the first of a planned series of sequels in August – and I could not be more excited!

I’ve been dreaming up a character like Trapp for at least a decade, during which time I’ve worked in publishing as a jack of all trades. I finally decided to master one – I hope – and put pen to paper on a manuscript that would become the first Trapp novel.

Many months later, I have learned an awful lot about the process of writing, and indeed what it feels like to spend ten hours a day behind a computer screen! I’ve discarded chapters, restored them, deleted them again, rewritten them, and then deleted them all over again so many times my eyes have gone a little cross-eyed…

On the plus side, I have had an absolutely fantastic time writing this book, and as I slow down on the day job front, I have plenty of hours to fill every day. And I plan to spend a significant proportion of them exploring Trapp’s adventures over the next few months and years. I can promise you that it’s going to be one hell of a ride!

Look out for the launch of Deep State in the middle of July, and with any luck the sequel False Flag, which is due in early August.
