The good news is that Jason Trapp #4, Depth Charge, is now LIVE on Amazon!
I honestly meant for this book to be out quite a while ago, but one thing lead to another, and I found it a little more difficult than normal to write whilst it’s gray out the window, and with rain coming down in sheets outside…
The first three books were either written or started during Spring and Summer, and it seems the sun on my face really helps get the creative juices flowing.
However I suppose that three months ain’t so bad in the grand scheme of things to write a 400+ page book, so I’ll cut myself some slack! (I hope you’ll give me the benefit of the doubt).
What’s next?
- I’ve just started a prequel novella for Trapp. It’ll probably end up being around 45-50,000 words, which is a bit longer than a novella really. More of a short novel. Targeting an April launch.
- I’ve had the idea for Trapp #5. Depending on how the novella goes I’d expect a May/June launch on that one.
- Exploring audio now. Not much to report; it’s definitely on my radar and whatever happens I’d like to get it out sometime this year.
- I’m thinking up a plotline for a completely new series. Think Jason Bourne crossed with The Manchurian Candidate. Still early days yet but the opening scene is epic (at least, in my own head!)
- I’m also dreaming up a crime fiction series. There’s a chance I’d release it under a pen name, just to separate things out, but obviously if I did that I’d let you guys know!
That’s all I can think of. I will try and update here more often, as the stats tell me people keep visiting the site, but I make no promises!
